Studies in Ethiopian Languages is an electronic journal based on the annual linguistic survey in Ethiopia.
There are about 90 languages in Ethiopia (see Ethiopia | Ethnologue). Since 2001, we have been making research of the languages with the cooperation of Addis Ababa University under the Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan. Our research reports has been published by the name of Cushitic-Omotic Studies. In 2012, we organized an electronic journal Studies in Ethiopian Languages for the convinience of the scholars and researchers working for Ethiopia.
